Did MACC know they were torturing a Bridegroom-to-be and father-to-be?

I believe the most heartbreaking fact of Beng Hock’s death is that it happened just on the eve of his marriage registration and he was going to be a father in seven months’ time.

What crueler thing can be done to his fiancee and his unborn baby?

Are those snatched away their future husband and father not the cruelest snatch theives in the world?

One question remains: did these life-snacthers know that they were torturing a bridegroom-to-be and a father-to-be and yet went on without any mercy?

Torturing anyone – confirmed: interrogating for 11 hours; possible: threat of violence – to the extent that would end the person’s life is unforgiveable.

But doing so knowing that a wife would be deprived of husband and an unborn baby deprived of father is simply evil.

Yes, EVIL. I don’t normally use harsh words. In this case, any other word would be an understatement.

So, did they know it? Were they evil or merely cruel?

Would they not find out Beng Hock’s family life in the 11-hour mental torture disguised as interrogation?

Another “witness” called in by the MACC, Kajang municipal councillor Tan Boon Hwa had this horror story to tell: “They said that if I don’t ‘tell the truth’, they will take away my wife and there would be no one to care for the children. …”

Taking away a woman from her husband and children? Is this a human traficcking mafia or a state agency?

Malaysians must settle for no less than a Royal Commission of Inquiry and suspenssion of all involved officers of MACC right from Ahmad Said.

More than this, the Royal Commission of Inquiry must be just another PR tool. We must spell out two clear demands:

1. Its term of reference must cover MACC’s command and power structure to see if that played any role in Beng Hock’s tragic death.

2. At least half of its members must be nominated by the Federal Opposition.

And Najib should deliver that on the coming cabinet meeting on next Wednesday (July 23), which is incidentally the 7th day of Beng Hock’s demise, an important day in the Chinese mourning custom.

  1. I think that they would have fully known that he was due to be registered but probably not that he had an unborn child. Thats why they picked him up, to threaten to disrupt his marriage plans and to make him more compliant to their ways. I am sure that all interrogations are recorded, where are the records?

  2. What has happened to this young lad ‘Teoh’ is certainly a very sad day for Malaysia. The MACC officers who are responsible for his death should all be interdicted from work, arrested immediately and thrown into an animal cage to get to the truth of the matter of his ‘cruel’ death.

I do not trust the police to be transparent in this matter and the Malaysian Government should bring the detectives from Scotland Yard so that we can get to the bottom of the matter and obtain the truth.

My condolence to Teoh’s family and fiancee of his untimely death. May his soul rest in peace.

  3. I suggest NH Chan be made Chairman of this RCI.
Please no jokers named Augustine Paul, Eusoff Chin, or Fairuz or Hamid.

  4. The fact is this: In Malaysia, the mat rempits of yesterday are the cops and enforcement officers and armed forces of today.

These aged mat rempits are now bearing arms and donning uniforms and raining terror upon civilised malaysians.

  5. Off courses they knew it as they are SPRM or actually called Suruhanraya Pembunuh Rakyat Malaysia.

  6. This case is The Straw That Broke The Camel’s (read: Rakyat) Back.

I have no words to describe what I feel now.

Enough is enough. The ruling govt must GO!

  7. I CAN ONLY SAY ONE THING, AND THAT IS, THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL MANS INHUMANITY TO MAN BEING DEMONSTRATED AT THE VERTICAL HEIGHTS WHICH IS INCOMPREHENSIBLE TO ALL RIGHT THINKING PEOPLE.
HOWEVER THE TRUTH WILL PREVAIL. AS THE LATE JOHN F KENNEDY ONCE REMARKED: ” THE GREAT ENEMY OF THE TRUTH IS NOT THE LIE,BUT THE MYTH.” WE SOBER PEOPLE CAN SEE THE MYTH.

  8. Sir,
These pariah dogs of the govt, PDRM included will not hesitate to commit murder. Simply b’cos they know the corrupted BN/UMNO leaders will mati mati defend them. The only solution this treacherous scheme is to throw the BN/UMNO into the dustbin come PRU13.

    JUSTICE FOR BRO TEOH

  9. CORRECTION:
” THE GREAT ENEMY OF THE TRUTH IS MORE OFTEN NOT THE LIE, BUT THE MYTH”

  10. Here is the secret:
Do you know that the past sins of Teoh are now transferred to the person(s) who did the crime? Yes, Teoh is now as clean as a white cloth in the Hereafter.

Yes, there is Justice after all.

  11. The atrocious abuse of power and authority speaks for itself. The glaring hypocrisy and racist overtones in MACC, the police and the judiciary’s not even covert practices to serve their political masters are sickening.
Anyone who has a conscience in the country should feel sickened to the guts for what happened. More importantly, for the silent majority not to do anything would simply ensure that it could be them, or their loved ones who will be the next victim.
Malaysia, which held so much promises, how could it have sunken to such depths ?

  12. My tears pouring down when i saw the saddest face of the family members of the late Teoh..

We the malaysians in this tragedy, are like the man behind, who indirectly, wrongfully, paying salaries for those idiots to torture innocent people beyond laws & justice, holding rules by their own hands..

JUSTICE HAS TO BE DONE,NEVER LET THE SOUL AND BLOOD OF TEOH BEEN BLOWN AWAY LIKE ALL CASES BEFORE,SHOW THEM WHO’S THE BOSS,
    COME ON MALAYSIANS !!!!!!!!

  13. Yes, Go to hell Najis and the whole evil government

  14. This is another reason, if the Malaysian law permits, why these *** who represent MACC should be *** for smearing the good name of Islam.

We have forgotten who the enemy is. The enemy is not each other. The enemy is Barisan Nasional and the stooges of Barisan Nasional that include PDRM, MACC, SPR, the AG Chambers and the judiciary.

So let’s stop fighting each other. And let’s start fighting the real enemy. And stop dreaming of the ballot box. Vote today. Vote with your feet. And vote in large numbers.

‘Election Day’ starts tomorrow. And the ‘election timetable’ is as follows. Make sure you come out to ‘vote’.

I don’t get what you’re saying. Torture is acceptable if the person wont be missed? It’s fine that he was tortured and killed, but it’s sad that he left survivors to mourn him? His fiancee and their baby are the victims, not the poor guy who was tortured and killed? If MACC didn’t know that he was a father and bridegroom to be, the torture and killing wouldn’t be a big deal anymore?

Please, elaborate, because it seems as though your sense of values are highly liberal and corrupt to the point of absurdity.

    • Thanks for your question which allows me to elaborate and clarify my point. Torturing any person in any situation is wrong. But if MACC had tortured Beng Hock in the full knowledge that he was to tie his knot the very next day and would be a father soon, then they were evil because they were not torturing him, but also his wife and unborn child.

The difference is like between a murder and a massacre or genocide. Murder of one person is wrong, but massacre or genocide is evil. Torturing more is more evil than torturing less. The rationality behind such emphasis on the number of victims, I believe, is that our humanity is tested every time we harm a person. When you harm many people, you fail the test many times.

In Beng Hock’s case, the MACC officers who led him to death – whose torturing via interrogation is confirmed by own admission – are evil because they knew that they were also torturing a bride to be and an unborn baby but this apparently did not matter to them.

  19. Mr.Chinhuatw,

Let us not split hairs. ” torture” is torture. There is nothing more or nothing less.

What the MACC officials did was inhumane. Period.

They endeavoured to get the late Teoh, by the use of some form of force or by inflicting some form of severe bodily pain, to implicate his Boss.

But this poor chap could only tell the truth.
So, by and by, may be this poor chap did not have the capacity to withstand the pain, and he may have, collapsed or his heart malfunctioned. The officials, became panicky.

Since, the officials became, desperate, they could not think, rationally. They had a taste of their own, medicine.

So they cooked up the idea that they had released him at 3.45 AM.

They decided to make it look like a suicide as they had no other choice.

This is what I mean that the murderer always comes back to the scene of the crime.

But, now we have to avenge the late Teoh’s death, and make certain, that he did not die in vain.

  20. there is a saying that Bosses pay with a reason and now i totally understand it.
